Personal History Amber Marie Wilson was born on April 4th, 2354 in Anchorage Alaska on Earth. Mark Wilson was a hard worker on the Alaska restoration project, while Louise Wilson did her best to raise both Amber and her older brother Sam. Amber grew up with a love of the outdoors, but more so with a love of flying. Her father was an avid pilot, and frequently took Amber with him as he toured different restoration sights around Alaska. Always a bit behind the times, Her father chose to use a conventional propeller aircraft instead of a shuttle, giving Amber her background in advanced piloting techniques. From an early age of seven, Amber had her civilian pilots license, and was helping her father with his restoration work.

Amber took over the majority of the flight work for her father at age fifteen, gaining her commercial pilots license, as well as beginning her license for space flight. She loved the feeling of soaring above the ground, and wanted to increase that by becoming a shuttle pilot, assisting her father in expanding his business in the process. Sam grew jealous of Amber's progress, and decided to join Starfleet after graduation as a sign of rebellion to the family. While Amber did not fully understand why he left, she saw his actions as an opportunity for herself, and began working on her grades. She followed her brother, and joined Starfleet after her graduation, just as he was graduating the Academy.

She ended up joining the starfighter track, as shuttle piloting was rather boring. Her technique from her early flying days proved useful as she was able to preform alot of the moves her fellow cadets could not. After four years, Amber graduated and was assigned to a Starbase along the Romulan Neutral Zone.

Patrol duty was not what Amber expected from her career, but with tensions between the Federation and Romulan Empire always shaky, she was always ready for a fight. During the first year of her assignment on Starbase 274, she met Lieutenant Hank Dawson. The two instantly hit it off, and were an item soon after. Hank was one of the only pilots in the squadron who could challenge Amber's skills in the cockpit, something she found attractive. Even though he was her superior officer, they did not let that affect their relationship, and quickly applied for quarters together. Two years after being assigned to 274, Hank proposed to Amber, something she gave a quick yes to.

Two weeks after Amber and Hank's engagement, a conflict sparked off on a small planet near 274. The fighter squadron was dispatched to deal with the issue, along with two support vessels. Upon their arrival, the quick response team found no signs of distress or trouble, but stayed cautious for any signs of trouble. Sure enough, multiple vessels dropped out of warp, destroying the Miranda class vessel almost instantly, and crippling the Akira that accompanied them. Fighters were scrambled from the attackers, giving Amber the opportunity to participate in her first fighter engagement. She quickly dispatched four fighters, giving the Federation forces the upper hand. That would not last as multiple wingmen were shot down as they were attempting to avoid debris from the escort vessel. Hank ordered that the fighters enter the planet's atmosphere to try and lose their attackers. The squadron followed suit, entering the atmosphere with their attackers in tow. Amber was able to dispatch another three fighters before being clipped by the enemies Ace. Her fighter plummeted to the ground, knocking her unconscious upon impact. Recovery teams could not get to her in time, causing her to be picked up by enemy forces. With their captive secured, the enemies warped away, leaving the federation forces scratching their heads.

The Private Military Corporation known as Artemis was responsible for the attack on the Federation forces, and were also responsible for Amber's capture. They implanted her with a mild control device, giving Amber a bit of freedom, but ensuring her loyalty to Artemis. She was to head up the new Fighter Wing on their next assault. The control device affected her memory, creating a different person than the Amber everyone had known and loved. She was called Vixen by her wingmen, and earned her title very well, as she let no one out fly her. Vixen's skills would be put to the test as Artemis planned its next contract. They were being payed to destroy Starbase 274.

The plan was simple, create a hole big enough to plant an anti-mater explosive, and destroy the station. Amber was to fly point on this attack, and ensure the stations destruction. She complied, not remember those she had served with. The plan went off with great success, leaving many Federation pilots dead at the hands of a former friend, including Hank. Upon his fighter's destruction, Something registered within her soul, unlocking the memories that were stored deep down inside her. She quickly turned on her wingmen as she attempted to escape from the combat zone. Her fighter was soon destroyed, but not before she ejected into the depths of space.

Amber spent almost nine hours inside her EV suit before being picked up by a Ferengi salvage ship. Treating her as a prize, the Ferengi attempted to have their way with the new ans seemingly dazed human. The short circuit of the control device in her brain sent Amber into a fit of violence, causing her to kill the entire Ferengi crew. She took the ship to the nearest neutral starbase where she left it in search of other transport.

Since then, she has picked up whatever work she could get, flying, fighting, and killing whenever necessary as she searches for some sort of relief.
