Mission: Session Two - Space Junk

The darkness penetrated her mind tearing at her as she laid there shivering in the pitch black. She could see nothing, not even the hand in front of her face. Sometimes she dozed off into a light slumber, the lack of food and water was beginning to take their effect and she was not sure how long she could not eat the filth they gave her. Everyone had a breaking point, everyone.

She often woke to a new pile in her cell along with dirty water, she never heard then nor saw them. It was as if no one put it there, it just came and went. To make it worse she was sure her ribs were getting worse. She had broken them the first time she came aboard but the last encounter with the guards left her near crippled. Her face was covered in dry blood and the rag she wore was half falling off it was torn that badly.

It revealed bruises and and deep cuts all over her ribs stomach and back. She often reopened the wounds while moving, there was nothing she could do to stop the bleeding except try and keep pressure on some of the bigger ones but all that did was cause her more pain.

She was at the point she was nearly sure she would die here, alone in this dark room. It took her quite a while to come back to her senses. Most the time she was only concious for a few moments but she had been awake for a full hour by her count.

Was it an hour, she thought to herself. She wasn't that sure about anything any more. But she was sure about one thing, there was someone in the room with her, she could smell his foul stench.

“I now yuo thar,” she said said trying to speak in the same language they did without much success.

“Oh so you can speak English, well I wouldn't call that English but it matches your persona you savage,” said a man in the dark. She recognised his voice right away, it was the man who had started the last fight.

“You broke my leg good girl,” he said as he began to run something metal along the cage, back and forwards, back and forwards. It went straight to her head, ringing. It made her dizzy and nauseated. She couldn't see a thing, she didn't know where the sound was coming from, it was coming from every direction then suddenly she was covered in ice cold water.

She began to shiver violently and tried to hold back tears, if she had any left.

“I will kill you,” she said in a low voice at first but it was building inside her, the anger, blood-lust.

“What was that lovely I didn't hear you,” he said chuckling.

“I will kill you,” she said a little louder and as clear as she could, she began to breath heavier and growled.

“I WILL KILL YOU,” she said this time screaming, half slurring the words at the top of her lungs. She tried to hear where the bars were but when she jumped she hit the wall thinking it was the bars. The sound was so disorientating.

Suddenly she was hit by a stun baton from behind and she fell to the ground again, freezing cold in the wet cage.

“You will never get the chance,” he said as the door opened revealing a bright light before closing again. She felt her way to the corner of the cage and curled up in a ball trying to stay warm.

Then again everything went silent and the darkness began to creep in again.
