Strange noises

Mission: Session 6: Take 5
Location: Reclamation center office

"Adjunct, one of the derelicts has some trace energy patters, it looks as if someone is trying to power up one of the hulks." The control operators fingers moved quickly across the panel.

"Which one." The adjunct who until a moment before was drinking a cup of coffee moved over in a wheeled chair. Time had not been kind to this man who was blubbering over himself.

"SS Warden, Groumal class, impounded for payment of fines and from death of the owner." The controller pulled up an energy scan. "Looks like someone has fired the MAM engines."

"Probably the mudrats again, lets go and clean them out before they do any damage." The adjunct stood up and moved towards the shuttle bay.

"Sir do you want backup?" The controller turned and looked as the man stopped for a moment.

"No, I don't think so, if they give me any trouble I'll just explode the whole damn thing."
