Mission: Session Two - Space Junk
Sheila looked around the corners of the hallway and aimed her phaser down making sure that there wasn't any troops around. She waved to Tali, "Let's move, we need to get to the bridge, we are meeting our contacts up there."
Tali hesitated for a moment. She was unsure of what was going on but the air smelled like danger and she was in no condition to fight.
Sheila motioned forward down one of the corridors, she raised her phaser and quickly scanned one of the corridors. At the end of one, 3 Gorn where punching each other in the chest she looked back and Tali and whispered. "There are three down there, I'll take the one on the right, you take the one on the left, then we'll finish off the last one and hopefully we'll get them all." Sheila set her phaser to kill and jumped out across the hall, firing at the one the right vaporizing it immediately, the Gorn on the left fell forward as he followed through with his punch and landed on its face.
As soon as the strange creature hit the ground T'ali sprung from her position moving without a sound. The big creature looked strong and she had no doubt it would kill her if it had the chance but now it was on the ground she knew she had the advantage as it did not looked very agile. The creature tried to roll onto its back but T'ali planted the top of her bare foot into its face sending in flailing onto its stomach. It lashed out as her with its razor sharp claws and T'ali rolled under it grabbing the energy weapon she had seen people using from its holster at its side and without pausing from her roll got to her feet in one fluid motion and shot the creature in the head killing it instantly. For a moment everything seemed clear, focused. It seemed natural but then the fear and confusion came rushing back and she dropped the gun looked at Sheila and stumbled backwards with tears streaming down her face.
Sheila ran down the hallway in a little shock of hat she just saw. She helped Tali to her feet. "Let's go kid.."

Jones and Tyl quickly moved down the hallways advancing and covering each other until they go to the door outside of ops.
"Are you ready for this old man?" Tyl looked up Jones as he checked the charge on his phaser, they had moved up here unmolested. "Hopefully there are quite a few of the cardies here."
Jones looked at Tyl and placed a charge on the door. "Alright if you value those antenna of yours lets get back. The two retreated down the hall and covered themselves as the explosive charge went off. Quickly running back into the bridge Jones and Tyl moved in phasers firing. After a few moments of controlled chaos they where the only two left standing in the ops area.
"Greyskins are about the only thing that are squishier then pinkskins." Tyl kicked one of the dead bodies on the floor. "Alright, I'm going to go and download this information and ship it back to Starfleet." Jones pushed off one the bodies on a computer console and sat down typing in commands. "God, she makes it look way to easy."
"Well done you two, I honestly didn't think you make up here." A voice echoed from one of the side offices and the sound of a clapping hand rang like a pipe being banged against the wall. Tyl growled at the familiar voice. "Park..... I should have killed you when I had the chance."
"Well you didn't now you do." Jones continued fiddling around with the computer.
"Show yourself and I'll make sure that I don't make the same mistake twice." Tyl hoisted his phaser and pointed it in the direction of the noise.
==Corridor==
Shiela stopped outside of the main corridor leading up to ops, and stopped for a moment. She brushed the hair out of her face and looked back at Tali. "How you doing kid? With any luck our contacts are already in there."
T'ali nodded not fully understanding what the woman had said but she sounded sencere and she was sure she wasnt going to let her get hurt.
Bending down near a conduit she linked in with the internal sensors, the contacts showed that there was a handful of gorn headed there way, and the contingent of cardassian security guards where still milling about in one of the armory rooms, but there where two additional contacts making their way up to the bridge, a human and a chal.
"They must be the Calvary" Shiela raised her phaser and started to head towards the two that were making their way up. A few hallways down and still linked in with the sensors, she stopped at a t intersection and yelled down to where she thought they would be.
"Starfleet intelligence! Don't shoot!"
Martok twirled towards the sound of the voice. He still had his pistols out and pointed them at the voice. "Identify yourself." he said gruffly.
"Lieutenant Commander Shiela Jones, Starfleet Intelligence, I was assigned here to infiltrate the base to provide details of operations here. I'm stepping out!" She put her hands up holding her phaser in her off hand pointed towards the ceiling and slowly stepped out from behind the bulkhead, her uniform looked a lot worse for wear but was still distinguisable as starfleet.
Flining herself out the sightline of those above Lottie twisted toward the sound of their voices awaiting their reply. Starfleet inteligence... what the hell?
"I think your Captain might need some help, there is a mad man here named Park who was left behind to run the station operations I can show you where they are, but there are some gorn and cardassians along the way."
Martok relaxed a little but didn't let his aim on the woman waiver. "Park." Martok muttered. "We have run into him before. We were on our way to meet up with the Captain. Do you know a shorter way?"
"Yeah just down the corridor and to the left. I saw you on the internal sensors and I thought I would try and meet up with you." Sheila checked the charge on her phaser, "hopefully they aren't dead yet."
"I have faith in Jones' capabilities. He is alright." Martok said.
Lottie face turned taught at Park's low life name. She wasn't prepared to turst this Starfleet woman nor would she touch her with a barge pole. Martok's comment regarding the Captain's abiltes surprised the woman somewhat as she followed behind. For some reason she hadn't considered Martok to be able to respect others or realise their own skills.
::Bridge::
"I'M TIRED OF THIS RAMBLING EITHER GET OUT HERE OR SHOOT US ALREADY!" Jones slammed his hands down on the console that he was working on and pulled out one of his ballistic weapons and quickly turned and shot a cardassian that was moving on the ground.
Park stepped out holding a device that was run with with several wires to something looking like an explosive. Tyl raises his weapon to fire when moved his arm down. "He's probably got it on a dead mans trigger."
"And you would be right Captain." Park pointed a phaser at the two of them. "You don't think I'd come out here unprepared do you?" Park moved over to the ops chair and kicked the dead body out of it and sat down. "Ohh Tyl, I was hoping that it would end like this, you begging for your life, at my feet like a dog. I thought about it every damn day in that prison, all thanks to you."
Tyl growled a bit and looked at him. "I'd sooner have Jones gut me and leave me naked on a planet then grovel to you."
"I'm sure we could arrange that." Jones looked over at Tyl and smiled. "What's your angle Park, What is with all of this."
"My, angle?" He laughed. "These morons are just simply a means to an end. They want an empire, domination, a legacy! Can you imagine that! Creatures that have essentially just pulled themselves out of evolutionary stew want an empire." Park leaned back in the chair and smiled. "I just want chaos, I want to see the universe burn!"
==Corridors==
Sheila continued up through the hallways leading the two unlikely allies up the innards of the ship.
"The bridge is just right around the corner." She turned the corner and made eye contact with one of six Cardassians that were about to burst into the bridge, she quickly dove back around the corner as a volley of phaser fire rocked the wall to the right.
"I counted 6 of them down there."
Martok pulled out a grenade and tossed it around the corner. "That oughta do the trick" he said.
The Cardassians that were firing wildly saw the grenade just in time to see it explode in a shower of shrapnel and plasma.
Sheila looked at Martok and smiled. "Nice work the bridge is just down there"
"Well then," Lottie pushed ahead finding the woman intorateable."Let's not waste any more time."
==Bridge==
Jones turned as the explosion rocked the hallway and dove behind one of the consoles. Tyl quickly lept next to him and fired a few rounds towards Park.
"This is getting old" Jones looked down at his wrist, the data transfer was almost complete, standing up and he started firing towards Park who at this point had dropped the bomb that he had been holding and started firing back at the two.
From around the corner that Park had appeared two heavily armored Gorn with heavy plasma weapons thundered in and started firing towards them, sending showers of sparks everywhere from exploding consoles. Jones ducked behind a hardened pylond and covered his head. Tyl had moved up next to him.
"Got any ideas pink skin?" Tyl shot and angry look at Jones.
"Break right and I'll break left, they can't shoot us both..." Jones quickly moved to the left of the room firing at the Gorn to draw their attention.
==Outside corridor==
Explosions and phaser fire could be heard coming from inside the bridge area. Sheila looked at her new found allies, and smiled. "We need to get in there. There are still some Gorn on the station and they have plasma rounds."
"Yeah, yeah don't fret miss prissy we can hold our own thank you very much." Lottie rolled her eyes flexing her narrow fingers upon her weapons. "Besides, didn't they teach you a little plasma is good for the soul?" She muttered giving Martok a confirming nod the small party stormed into the bridge.
Everything in their path promptly irrupted with their onslaught. Gorn, Park Jone and Tyl a like took cover.
"Park honey," Lottie called dropping behind sold cover flashing a wink and Jones who looked shell shocked at their sudden entrance. "You found your next best thing, with this skip did you? Shame, we could have done great things." Then paused with grin upon her face throwing down some bait. "The Warden, for example. I part own it now. Bump off Jones and Tyl... and well skies the limits baby."
Jones looked over to Lottie and mouthed "You better be joking" and then smiled at her.
"Lottie is that you baby? I knew you couldn't resist me!" Park crawled on the ground towards where his bomb, from one of the explosions, the detonator had been fused and was no longer operational. He motioned at one of the Gorn to move forward while the other started firing wildly to provide cover.
Martok shot the Gorn with one pistol and the ground in front of Park with the other. The Gorn disinigrated and Park moved his hand back. "Alright I'm tired of this crap." Martok said. "Park if you so much as move a muscle I will blast you back to whatever hell you came from." Martok had one pistol trained on Park and the other trained on a group of Gorn. "Captain it would be appreciated if you would help take care of these Gorn.
Jones stood up and dusted himself off and pointed his weapon at the Gorn. "I'd appreciate it if you fine... well... things would kindly kneel down, before I put a metal slug between those beady eyes."
"Tsk, tsk Part sweetheart." Lottie said softly moving closer to Park's new hiding place since Martok's fresh fire. "Didn't your Mummy ever warn you about those dangerous women that could wrap men around their little fingers? You would know then not to trust them, especially me."
"Look, Martok, Tyl, Jones" He started saying in a friendly almost condescening tone."Especially you Lottie and that other thing in the corner over there" He pointed at Tali and Sheila. "I can completly make it worth your while to forget this nonsense and let me out of here, besides, the backup fleets are on there way more likely then not. I can make sure your not harmed."
T'ali looked at Sheila, "shoot hum," she said in her strange accent. She looked her dead in the eyes, "shoot hum". In the blink of an eye t'ali broke from cover and sprinted towards where Park was in cover. She hunched over half because of her injuries and half because her instinct was telling her to do so and she moved faster than she had expected which threw her off balance.
Park saw the woman come hurtling at him and he quickly removed a knife from his boot and took his attention off of Lottie and Martok to deal with the woman hurtling at him.
Having been inching closer siliently, stealthy Lottie whirled around at the sound of new feet approched far lighter then those of her crew. "Dammit," she hissed watching T'ali hurry through the bridge stealing Park's attention. This nut case was about to get herself killed.
Tossing aside the idea of her orginal plan Lottie moved in too.
Park eyed T'ali and almost hissed at her, "Bring it!" he intercepted her as she flew through the air at him and knocked her to the floor, spinning around quickly and kicked her in the ribs then flung the knife at the rapidly advancing Lottie.
For her part Lottie moving between the beams of phaser fire narrowed her eyes as Park kicked T'ali viscously to the ground and her pace increased watching in surprise as the second woman fought back. In the gloom the gleam of the flying knife was momentarily lost until with a deep bite it struck Lottie in the thigh having past the zenith of its arc.
Lottie's quick stride turned into a quick stagger, one hand exploring the wound pulling free the short bladed knife, her eyes still forward matching the line of second had clutching a pistol.
T'ali grabbed the man's foot with one hand as it hit her in the chest and his second knife with the other before it was out of her reach and brought it down on the man. He managed to grab her arm and the force of his grip on her injured arm made her drop the knife. She grabbed his arm and with her hand still on his foot lifted him just a centre meter of the ground and with all her might and threw him into the wall. She went to grab the knife but coughed up a pool of blood and fell to the ground clutching her ribs as she gasped for air. In the heat of the moment when everything became clear and focused again she had forgotten about the countless beatings she had taken and realised the kick to the chest had done more damage than it should have.
Jones quickly put two rounds into each of the Gorn that he was guarding and walked over to the woman who had just colapsed into a pile of her own blood.
Lottie had eyes only for Park watching with satisfaction as he struggled to stand after being thrown. Limping over she clubbed him with the but of the pistol and relieved him of remaining visible weapon.
"My, my your ego must be at an all time low. Thrashed by a couple of women, still I can't blame her. You had this coming."
Park coughed, blood was coming from several places on his body. "My ego is a bit bruised, but at least I know I could still pay for your company darling." he coughed "And still get you at prime discount sweets."
"Well, where there is money your find people like me," Lottie retracted slightly from him, crouching over him not wanting to miss his passing. "Why her?" she asked jerking her head to T'ali. "What made you pick her out and twist her so?"
Park spit up some more blood and made sure it hit Lottie's boot. "She was going to be the perfect soldier, or slave depending on your point of view, I'm rather partial to the whole slave bit but that is me.. I normally don't have the need for soldiers."
Lottie curled her lip in disgust.
T'ali looked at the man next to her. He was an older man and had a kind face. She watched him for a moment until realising he meant no harm and struggled to her feet. Every fibre in her body told her to kill the man that had kicked her in the chest. But it took every ounce of her strength to stand. Something just screamed inside her not to give up until it was safe, dont let your guard down. She walked the best she could all the while holding her ribs and picked up the mans knife and just stared at him as if her glowing blue iris's could burn through his skull but she had no idea her eyes were glowing.
Lottie looked over her shoulder hearing T'ali approaching. She paued her eyes widening as her startling eyes seemed to glowing in the gloom. Perhaps Lottie was imagining but that wasn't normal...
"Look like your pet has bone to pick with you." Lottie muttered to Park. "Lucky for her you have 206, or may slighlty less for her to pick at."
Park got a sickening grin on his face. "If you two are going to kill me, would you please get it over with, your little girl talk moments are making what is left of my blood curdle. Park spit one last time trying to hit Lottie in the face to accent how much he hated her. "And I want you to know your little stunt here hasn't solved anything.. I hope you know that."
Wiping the silver of bloody mucus from her face that had been projected at her on a sleeve Lottie's face suddenly turned. With the knife wet with her own blood she lashed out suddenly, stabbing without mercy the blade into Park's right eye.
Shockingly as Park howled clutching his face the eyeball shot a stream of bright blood across the deck flying over Lottie's shoulder.
"He's all yours," the young woman nodded to T'ali as she stood leaving Park at to the hands of his privately created monster.
T'ali stood unphased as the blood poured out of his face. She watched him oblivous to her pain as everything had gone so clear again, she knew what she was doing, it was all comming naturally. After a few moments she threw the knife. It landed between his legs just infront of him and T'ali nodded at it as if to say pick it up so we can finish it. She could kill him where he stood but something inside her told her that it was wrong to kill someone who doesnt pose a threat. So she decided to return his knife so he would have a chance at killing her.
Park reached for the knife, holding his hand over the empty socket that remained from his eye ready to plunge the blade into one of the two women.
Tyl stood up from his position and took out his phaser, pointed it at Park and pulled the trigger. A single disrupter beam ripped across the control room and impacted squarely into the skull of Park Stamir, vaporizing what was left of his head into a fine mist. Tyl put the phaser back into his holster and looked at the assembled mass.
"You pink skins talk way to much, if you have forgotten there are enough explosives down stairs to make this place go up like a supernova." Tyl sneered at everyone then turned to Jones who was still recovering from the quick series of events. "Can we get out of here?"
Limping Lottie rolled her eyes at Tyl at his expressions but it was true the explosives were near detonation.
Jones looked at his comm link and hailed the Warden
"Jan you still out there? We are ready for pickup" Jones fidget with the link
==Space==
"More or less, we took extensive damage, main power is fluctuating, and one of the impulse engines is on fire. We'll be in a position to transport you in 1 minute, smash anything left and grab some loot on the way out for me will ya?" Jan said.
==Station==
"Roger, I've got a couple Gorn teeth for you, I hear those sell pretty well. Jones out." He turned and looked at everyone. "Search them for any useful data, I've got their database downloaded, and then smash everything to hell.. we are getting out of here."
T'ali spun around to see the Andarian putting his weapon in his holster. In a span of nearly a second she closed the gap between then with blinding speed and wrapped her hand around his throat pinning him up against the wall. She stared at him with her strange eyes for what seemed like an eternity. However the pain had slowly started to creep back and the confusion was far behind. She lifted him a few centereters off his feet up the fall and threw him to the ground with a grunt then collapsed onto her backside leaning up against the wall.
Tyl picked him self up quickly and immediately pulled his disrupter back out planning on putting her out of her misery as well.
Senseing Tyl would respond fast and furiously Lottie as quickly as she could into path. "Enough!" She said firmly. "I don't know who you are," she said tutned to T'ali but if you want to live you need to calm down, alright?"
"You better be lucky I don't dislike you." Tyl sauntered over to the body of Park and pulled a small necklace off of the body. "I'm ready to go."
T'ali gave the body of the now deformed looking man and looked back up at the blue skinned man as she sat on the floor clutching her ribs. She glared at him, hedidnt fully understand what was going on but that man had just killed a defensless man and she knew that something like that was unforgivable.
Jones had walked over to where the Starfleet intelligence officer was and looked at her, studying her up and down. "I'll deal with you later Sheila..." Jones hit the comm link again.
"Jan get us out of here."
A moment later the telltale energy of a transporter beam enveloped everyone on the bridge, and in a flash they where gone
