Jones walked down to the room that they had cobbled together for their "Guest". Jones hit the button on the door and walked in. He had his normal cool demeanor and wanted to find out what this woman had to say about everything.
T'ali got to her feet from the small chair on which she was seated. She was in long black pants with a gray long sleeve shirt and a long black coat which brushed the floor.
"Hey there, wanted to talk to you about what we are going to do with you." Jones leaned up against the wall, making sure that he could brace himself if she came at him.
"Thats up to you captain," she said in a clear voice. She had spent her time studying the English language though she was not sure if she would understand the others. She had collected herself alot since the events on the station, the flashbacks she got scared her at times but she was able to keep her cool and she pretty much recovered, "Literally cause I have no where to go. Don't remember anyone or anything before the station".
"Well, I'd be more then willing to keep you on the ship till you can find your feet, all I ask is that you pull your weight and watch everyones back. I'd like to think we are a family around here." Jones smiled at her, "you are obviously a good fighter."
T'ali bowed gracefully closing her glowing blue eyes, "I give you my word captain, I will serve you as if you are my own kin". She raised her head and tilted it slightly, "Could I have one of those things you call a universal translator".
"Yeah, I've got an older unit that mounts behind the ear that should help, you might have to program it a bit for a language you are comfortable with but it is better then nothing."
Jones smiled at her. "Got any questions for me?"
"Yes, I'd like a gun. Pulse pistol preferably".
"Not quite yet sugar... before we go on our next haul, I'll see about it. I'll be honest, I don't quite trust you yet, I think you need to find yourself a little bit more before I can give you one." Jones smiled at her. "Don't worry, we'll take care of you."
T'ali let out an audible sigh and nodded, "I understand," she said, "I dont mean to be blunt captain but I dont know you, don't know this ship, I dont know anything except the bits and pieces popping into my head and they arn't nice images so sorry If I dont trust other people to take care of me".
"It is understandable, but just remember we could have left you on that station." Jones smiled and started to head out of the room. "All good things come time, I've programmed your name into the replicator so you have full access... besides the phaser, anything I can get ya?"
"Can I participate in missions. I dont plan on staying here doing nothing, if you let me stay on your vessel I would like to do something in return".
"I'm sure we can find something for you to do." Jones smiled at here, "I'll make sure that you get a cut of any profit for your assistance."
"I have no need for money," she said letting out an audible sigh, "I lend my skills for your generosity of letting me stay".
"Sounds good love, I'm glad that you decided to stay." Jones smiled at her and pressed the chime on the side of the door to let himself out. "If you need anything let me know.
