Mission:
Session One - Jailhouse Rock
Location: Warehouse 5, Stardock 376
Timeline: Current
Walter and Tyl'varas where grabbing a few crates that they where taking back to the Warden when the lights went dark. Jones immediately pulled out his phaser and pointed it towards the cargo door.
Following example, Shrive pulled out his disruptor pistol, visually scanning the surroundings.
"I don't like the look of this..." Jones nudged Ty, "I wonder who the hell is coming after us now."
"What the hell did you do this time, Jones?"
"I'm not sure... could be any number of things that could possibly be trying to get us.. and remember... we... What did WE do... you are in this too." Jones smiled at Shrive.
"This is on your tab, not mine this time... I'm not paying for cleanup."
The door slid open and 3 men appeared in the door, phaser rifles aimed at Jones and Ty.
"I'd put that phaser down if you know what is good for you Jones..." Two more men appeared behind the the initial three. One of them looked like a business man while the other looked like a bounty hunter. "I knew you wouldn't stay hidden forever." He tapped his cigar.
Jones leaned over and whispered to Ty... "I thought I killed this guy a few years ago." He turned to the man who just entered. "How is that knee doing."
Shrive looked angry as hell. And he certainly didn't drop his pistol. "Well, while this isn't a fair fight, I'm more than willing to kill them, regardless of their lack of firepower."
The man scowled "It hurts... every day it hurts... twice as much in space... It just reminds me every day that I need to kill you." Slaad leaned over to the bounty hunter. "Go and bring me Jones, I'm not paying you to stand here."
Martok scowled at the man. "Your also not paying me enough to talk to me that way. I could kill you for that." He walked over to Jones, grabbed his arm and said "Come on."
Immediately upon Martok grabbing Jones, Shrive took aim at the man in business attire. He looked towards Jones and Martok and stated, "You take one more step, and the only thing left of your pinkskin employer is going to be the cigar that he drops. After he's gone, I'll pass on an offer of a lifetime. All of the rest of you? I'll give you the chance to walk out of this station, minus a bit of pride. I almost hope that you decline."
Unnoticed to the Andorian Martok had pulled a disruptor pistol of his own. He fired and knocked the Andorians Phaser to the ground. "You pull anything else out and I'll mount your antenna over my bed." Martok said gruffly.
Jones slowly started walking with Martok. "Not that I want to get between you two.. I mean, business is business after all... but... how much is he paying you?"
Caught slightly off guard by the question. "I get 5%" Martok said.
"Five percent? " Jones scoffed at it what was just said. "Five percent? for a professional like you? He probably doesn't even give you free room and board does he? If I remember old Slaad well enough he is still a cheap skate. Ty tell him how much I pay you."
"Ten percent plus bonuses. Quarters, chow, and I'll even let you shoot the one with the cigar. I have plenty of other viable targets. You owe me a new weapon, though. We'll take it out of your cut."
"Room and board?" Martok said as if it was unheard of.
"You've got yourself a deal" Martok said. He turned around and shot The guy with the cigar and 2 others before they realized what had happened. To the Andorian he said "I'll just let you have one of my weapons you can pick one out later."
Quickly pulling out a second disruptor, Tyl'varas quickly took down the last two, and dryly stated, "I prefer Andorian make, personally. I rarely find the need to.. stun... But none the less, glad to have you aboard. I have a few odd jobs that might fit right up your alley."
"I'm not sure if I have anything Andorian, I'll have to check. Ive got some good Klingon weapons. No stun setting"
Jones walked over to Slaad and looked down, he had to of put on 200 pounds since he had seen him last. "Welcome aboard. What is your name?"
"My name is Martok. Im a local Bounty Hunter."
"Well, we are in dock 6, head on over and make yourself at home." Jones kicked Slaad
Martok headed over to to Slaad's place to box up his stuff. After a few hours he finished and closed his last crate. He went and got a grav lift to carry all his stuff over to the Warden. He loaded everything onto the lift and carried it to the warden. He got to the door, was let in by Jones and began to unload his stuff.
