Comming Aboard.....

When Mnheia woke up it was hot. Stifling hot. But not hotter then normal.....for Vulcan.
Mnheia sat up in her bed and looked around the room. It had a low ceiling, a fireplace (which she never used), a 'meditaion area', a rug and a closet. Throwing the light weight blanked off, Mnheia walked over to the closet and flung it open. Hanging there were seven uniforms she was to were while on duty on a Starfleet ship and several robes. Two were ceremonial and seven were everyday robes.
Mnheia's eyes went to her Starfleet uniforms and gently caressed them. Every crease, every medal, every ribbon. As she did so her mind wondered back to her Academy life, her early days in Starfleet. As she did so her mind was filled with images of her classes, the tests, the friends she made while in the library. Her friends wer books, not people. In books she found solace, in people she found turmoil.
Snapping back to the present, Mnheia reached for one of her daily robes, donned it and walked out of the bedroom. Entering the kitchen area and sitting down at the breakfast table, Mnheia soon found that displayed in front of her were several Vulcan delicacies. She downed them with relish and then walked back into her bedroom with the intention of retrieving the computer book she had found and wanted to finish it.
As she entered her beroom she heard a soft 'beep' that was coming from the driction of her computer. Turning towards it and after pressing a sequence of buttons, Mnheia saw the logo of Starfleet come up on her view screen.

TO: MNHEIA T'LlAIIR
YOU ARE ORDERED TO REPORT TO THE SS WARDEN THAT IS CURRENLY DOCKED AT A SPACE STATION AND COMMANDED BY CAPTAIN WALTER JONES.
WHEN YOU REPORT THERE YOU WILL BE RECIVING THE RANK OF LT AND FILL THE POSITION OF CHIEF OF COMMUNICATIONS/COMPUTER.
MORE INFORMATION WILL BE FORWARDED TO YOU VIA A HAND DELIVERED MESSAGE.
STARFLEET

The message was replaced once again with a vision of the Starfleet logo. Mnheia immediatly walked over to her closet, retrieved her duffle bag, methodically folded her uniforms, cerimonial robes and daily robes up and placed them in the duffle bag. She also retrieved a few tolitries and placed them in the duffle bag also. Then gathering everything up and walking to the door, she said good bye to her mother and father and entered the space-taxi that was waiting for her.
After the taxi depsited her at the space-port where the space craft was that would take her to the SS Warden, Mnheia retrieved her duffle bag and walked the few yards to the ship. Grabbing an isle seat and fastening the seat belt, Mnheia turned and shut the window that she was next to. Then she opened the book on the computer programs and techniques that she had brought and continued to read it.
Soon she found her ship was entering the landing dock of the SS Warden. Once again, grabbing her duffle bag, Mnhiea exited the ship and walked towards the wall of the pressurized portion of the docking bay. There she looked at the wall and accessed the detailed picture of the ship. Asking the computer to show her where CnC was. After locating it, Mnheia walked over to the turbo lift and commanded it to take her to CnC. Once there she deposited her duffle bag by the turbo lift entrance and walked over to the most senior officer on the bridge that she could find and said;
"Sir, my name is Mnheia t'Llaiir. My service number is 3756-43-2985A. I am a female Vulcan and have been assigned by Starfleet as the Chief Communications/Computer specalist. I have been given the rank of Lt. Here are my papers that were given to me on Vulcan. Please show me my station and then please show me the location of my quarters as I have yet to unpack, sir!"
