Mission: Session One - Jailhouse Rock
Location: Flausten Planet
Timeline: Current

ON:

Jones had changed into the suit that Sky had given him, it fit almost perfectly and he actually looked fairly dashing in it but for some reason he knew that James and Lee were going to make fun of him for it. Looking over the consul they where just coming up on the planet, "Guys you better get up here, we are about to jump out of Warp out flausten." punching a few buttons on the panel the Warden fell out of Warp just in sight of the the Planet and the docking station. "Hopefully this goes well." the comm panel lit up and he tapped a few buttons.

"State your business here on Flausten." A rather disagreeable man appeared on the screen in what looked like a cross between a military uniform and a waiters outfit. "We can't have your" He paused for a moment with a look of contempt and disgust on his face. "Vessel, taking up space in orbit and where is your permit for the parking orbit and warp entry permission."

Jones growled for a moment, not one insulted his ship even if it was in passing, though the retort he was planning would probably get them arrested. "Our reputation should proceed us friend" Jones looked over at the door waiting for the rest of the crew to show up.

Putting down the jug of water he was using to water the plant in his quarters, Miller headed for the bridge and arrived in time to see someone’s face up on the view screen who didn’t seem pleased to see them. “Who’s the uniform?” Miller asked as he looked from the view screen to Jones.

Jones smiled at Miller then turned back to the screen "Don't you know who this man is? This is Professor Jameson Miller, famed professor of Botany form the institute of applied and biological services on antares sigma 6!" Walter flipped off the view screen for a moment. "Lower level customs and docking official asking us for papers... go along with it." Flipping the channel back on the official, rather annoyed that he had been put on hold looked at Miller.

"You don't look like a professor. At least none that I've ever seen."

“And you don’t look like any customs and docking official I’ve ever seen.” Miller replied in touché fashion. Before the customs agent could respond to the insult Miller continued. “I’m here because my studies have lead me to believe that there is a plant here on your planet that has the ability when mixed into a drug compound to cure almost any current disease known to man. Now I’m offering you a one time chance that if you let us dock and make all the red tape disappear, I’ll included your name as having helped make this scientific breakthrough, and I’ll give you five percent of any profit made. What do you say?” Miller asked as he improvised. “And remember if you reject my offer it’s off the table and you can be a lowly customs agent for the rest of your life.”

Sky had entered into the Bridge during the exchange and was smiling at the Captain. He really did look very dashing in the suit that fit him perfectly. She stayed near the back watching the exchange between Miller and the docking controller.

The official thought for a moment. "I'm sure that your papers are simply misplaced at the moment. I'm going to fill out your temporary papers now, I'm sure once you are planet side the appropriate considerations will be made. Welcome to Flausten planet, take up docking at port alpha 7 3." The screen flicked off.

Walter turned to James and Sky. "Well done professor, you almost had me convinced there for a moment, alright the hard part is done, I'll have you and Lee go down and find out anything you can about this plant, and take some time to yourselves." Jones turned and looked at Sky. "I believe that you and I have a date Ms. Summers."

“Understood sir.” Miller said with a slight smile as he privately congratulated himself for coming through when he was needed. Now all he had to do was find the plants they were looking for and he would be set till they picked them up.

Lee came running into the bridge, obviously running late, and stumbled clumsily on the hatch as she rushed in. She had taken a little longer to get ready when she realized she could dress up a bit for their visit to the planet. Lee didn't have anything fancy to wear, though, and after a few long minutes debating what to put on she chose to go with her usual clothes.

"Sorry, I'm late. What did I miss?" Lee said with sheepishly smile. She put herself together, trying not to think how foolish she looked by almost falling down on her way in. Lee then glanced up at Sky before moving her gaze to Miller and finally to the captain. Lee's brow furrowed and she studied the captain for a moment, a smile widening across her face. "Looking quite fancy there captain..." the green skinned girl commented.

"Thanks Lee. You and James are going to be going down to the planet together to find out what you can about this damn plant we are picking up. You'll have some time to go down and relax too." Jones moved towards the middle of the assemblage. "Now we all need to be careful you need a permit to do pretty much anything other then walk around down there, try and keep a low profile, if something bad happens I don't want to strand the rest of our friends out in space, head back to the ship." Jones looked at Lee and James. "You guys take down the the kangaroo shuttle, if anything happens get a hold of me."

Lee assented as the captain spoke and tried to register every bit of information. For a planet that had so much for offer in terms of entertaining the need for permit for everything was kind of a turn off. "Aye sir...we'll try to behave," she flashed the captain and a Sky a smile. "And you and Miss Summers have fun," Lee said before moving closer to James. "Whenever you are ready, Mr. James."

Jones almost forgot to mention an important piece of information. "There is a contact that the doctor told me about on the planet, his name is Jan Valentine, he has information that will lead to this damn science experiment. Link up with him when you get a chance, he is expecting us."

Lee nodded. They only had the guy's name but how hard could be to locate him? This place wasn't so big. "Will do that captain," she replied with a quick salute.

"Alright everyone, lets be careful down there, Sky we've got a date. Jones watched as everyone left the bridge then adjusted his suit a bit.
