Mission: Session One - Jailhouse Rock
After the crew had moved back on board the ship. Brian broke the docking ring from the prison ship and swung the Drake around and disabled the engines in attempt to slow them down. Watching the engines from the ship erupt in a beautiful display of sparks and plasma Mallory smiled a little bit.
"Alright hold on back there I'm taking us to warp." Punching in the co-ordinates the ships engines droned slightly as the viewscreen showed the telltale signs of of warp. Locking in the autopilot, he stood up and moved to the back to see who or what they had taken from the heist.
Martok was in the back with the "prisoners" watching them, somewhat unsure of what exactly was going on.
Swaying a little on her feet for balance as the small ship jumped to wrap Charlotte asked the first question: "So what exactly makes the two of you so 'valuable' enough to stake a breakout?"
The Andorian came into view, with a disgusted look on his face. "Park, my debt is repayed in full. If you'd be so kind, you can make sure the remainder of payment is transferred. Maybe afterwards you can find yourself an airlock to disappear out of." Glancing at the other prisoner, he said, "Why are there two pinkskins? We were only paid to pick up one." Raising a disruptor towards the second one, he growled out, "Tell me, pinkskin. Why are you aboard our ship? And why should I not lighten our load by one right now?"
Park looked over at Max then to Tyl. "You touch him and you don't get paid." He stood up and looked at over Martok and Charlotte. "What old Tyl didn't tell you about what this is all about or why you were breaking me out? I wouldn't be surprised, he never was very forthcoming, even when the Federation had us up in front of a tribunal for insubordianation and attempted mutiny." He turned and gave Tyl a giant grin then turned back towards Charlotte, Martok and Brian. "Mr. Sainexs just happened to be fortunate enough to make my acquaintence in the slammer, once we get to the final destination I'm sure he'll be on his way, but as for me, the Federation was moving me to a hard labor Facility and then eventually to be put to death, I had some of my contacts in the seeder collections of the galaxy contact you guys." He moved over and looked at Tyl, "And with blood debts and all I knew my old friend would respond, but I figured I'd kick in some cash to make it worth your while."
Shrive had a look of pure fury on his face. "Worth our while? I don't give a damn about your money! I should kill you where you stand Park! And you are in no position to change arrangements of this deal! I should kill this other pinkskin where he stands simply on principle!"
"If you do that I would kill you before you can blink a eye" Max replied finally standing there calm "My name is Max Sainexs, maybe it does not ring a bell with you folks but trust me that you do not want to bite me or stand in my way" he eyes Park "He saved my ass, so I protect his life. It stands in the codex and I keep to it"
What ever the cause Ashcroft did not trust anyone aboard not even Shrive. She kept a watchful eye on all of the them remaining neutral but observant.
Martok stood in between Shrive and Max. Looking at Shrive "This man is a know pirate. I have heard of him and his many deeds." Turning to Max. "I too am rather well known for what I do. Perhaps you have heard of me. I am Martok, the bounty hunter. If you so much as look at Tyl in a threatening manor. I will take your head off your shoulders before you know what hit you."
Tyl'varas looked at Max with a curious look. "Pinkskin, if you think I give a damn about who you are, you are mistaken. To me, you are a liability." The Andorian glanced towards Park, then back at Sainexs with a grin. "Ah. Park has given you the impression that he is your friend, your ally. He told you that we'd be more than happy to take you with us, didn't he? Let me assure you, the terms you have agreed to are not what you think they are. Perhaps if we leave you on the next barely-habitable planetoid we come across, you'll learn to choose your friends a bit better."
Park smiled at Tyl. "Almost like leaving me in a prison colony for a few years huh friend. Max stays, until we get to the starbase." Park moved to the back of the shuttle and looked Charlotte up and down. "I think I'm going to like it around here."
Sensing his eyes upon her Charlotte narrowed her own making her look as dangerous as her growing reputation. "I wouldn't get too comfortable," she replied striding past him ensuring he saw that she was armed and would not stand for any foolishness.
Stamir turned and looked at Brian "Your flying this bucket right? Let's get to the starbase in a hurry."
Tirad grumbled a bit. "I'm headed back to the front I've had enough of this, we should be there in an hour."
"Oh yippee an whole hour with these two," Lottie sighed propping herself against the smooth walls of the shuttle.
