Mission:
Session One - Jailhouse Rock
Location: Warden
The people of the little shuttle enter the Warden as Max steps out of the vessel as well. He blinks and looks around trying to spot any hostile actions. 'Might have been smart to stick on that base' he thought.
Jones had walked down to see the new person that they had picked up on the adventure, Tyl had messaged him ahead of time and said that they had picked up someone new. Waving to everyone as they disembarked, the man that stepped out of the shuttle looked familiar, like a ghost from the past. After a few moments of thinking about it, he figured out who it was. But how could he be locked up in a federation prison, Jones didn't think anyone could catch him. He waited till everyone else was out of the bay before slowly walking over towards the man. "I'm not sure whether I should be honored or frightened by the presence of a man such as yourself."
"Depends if you own me a debt or not" he joked a bit "Captain Jones I presume, your crew speaks highly of you" Max blinks and reach out his hand "Want to thank you for busting me out there"
"No problem, we've all had our run ins with the law, unjustly imprisoned and what not." Jones took the mans hand and shook it. "Let's go for a walk, I'm sure if the rest if them knew who you were they would have left you back at the Pirates haven." Jones started walked to the door and opened it.
Max followed the old man "Well maybe it is unjustly for you, but if you know my record. You would not say that for a second time" He was lucky to get out of there, the federation onces again underestimated him.
"Yeah, I'm surprised no one really even questioned it, one of the most famous, or infamous, pirates in the quadrant is on our humble little ship." Jones continued walking and stepping through bulkheads. "I'm surprised the federation didn't quietly put you to death, I know they don't endorse that kind of thing but there is history for it."
"Well they see death as a cheap way to avoid the real punishment, plus I stand favor in the Klingon Empire " he smiles "After the Pirate war I created more enemies and there for, you got to think if I am safer here or in some federation prison. It is really how you look at it"
"Yeah, no doubt, I guess it does depened on how you look at the situation. Well, if you would like to run with us until things cool down a bit I'd be happy to have you. It would be good to have another old space dog around here to help out." Jones had stopped and looked at the pirate. He sort of knew what he was going through.
"Who are ya calling old here?" Max blinks at him "I'll do my things here on this vessel....I will try not to get you into any problems"
Jones smiled at him, "Figure of speech. We'll find something for you to do." Jones stopped and extended his hand again. "There are some bunks on deck two, go and make yourself at home."
"At home? I am already at home" Max smiles
