Mission: Session One - Jailhouse Rock
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: Current

OOC: Great to be here. LOVED the JP you guys did.

IC:
The green skinned young woman walked in the Warden's sickbay for the second time she was hired by the captain. The first time was during a quick tour when she first came aboard but she didn't have time to get familiar with the place at that moment. But now she was going to devote her precious time to inventory, diagnostics and decoration. It was essential all systems and equipments were working at the time of their departure plus the place looked boring, it needed some life as well.

Lee put a small box down on the floor and stood in the middle of the small sickbay for a few moments. She took a deep breath then and pursed her lips. It felt nice being there and that wasn't a sensation that she normally felt when starting a new job. Lee loved what she did but she had never felt attached to a ship before...well not since the Aurora but she was born there and it meant home. The orion girl cast her eyes around and couldn't help but smile. She decided she liked it there despite the lack of personality.

During the next hour, Lee checked every inch of the sickbay while she waited for the systems diagnostics to complete. She let it running while she did the inventory and planned the decoration. While she kept herself busy, Lee couldn't help but wonder what the captain was thinking when he put her in a sickbay without a medical officer. She was qualified and she had seen a lot of wounds but it wasn't safe to lead this kind of life without a good pilot, a skilled hired gun, a mechanic who knew his way around an engine room and a medical officer. Depending of the type of wound one sustained they couldn't just stop at a Federation station or hail a ship. Too many questions wee asked in these situations. A doctor was essential.

"He could find a doctor yet," Lee mused under her breath as she put a vase with artificial flowers over her console. Hopefully someone nice enough and that didn't mind her decoration.

Satisfied with the vase position, Lee took a step back and looked around the sickbay. There were a couple portraits of her family and the crew of the Aurora in display over the console on one of the station as well as a few souvenirs. They were mementos from jobs and people she met over the years since leaving the Aurora; objects that reminded her of a certain day or person and meant something to her. She kept most them in her quarters, though, out of the public eye.

Lee looked over the other station and bit her lower lip lightly. She left the station free of most ornaments and more 'professional' looking. A second vase and a small stuffed purple bear missing an eye were enough to add some color but not stand out too much, just in case someone else used that station and they didn't appreciate the decoration.

With that part of the job done, the Orion nursed went about the more serious part of her obligations and finished the inventory to make sure they had everything they could possible need in case of an emergency and waited for the system diagnostics. After that came up okay, Lee grabbed the now empty box and walked the sickbay to return to her quarters. She made plans to 'explore' the ship after a quick stop on her bunk. Perhaps she could meet some of the crew then...
